Today he is the CEO of Winter 4 Kids, an organizations that turned a dormant New Jersey ski area into a nonprofit whose goal is to give urban, suburban and rural children in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut access to winter sports. We had the opportunity to sit down with Schone to discuss his work, building a ski area from the ground up, creating opportunities for children to grab their piece of sky, and changing culture because DEI is more than a number game.
